My process started normally with an HR phone screen that went well, followed by a video call with the hiring manager. That conversation felt dry rather than warm, and it did not seem to build toward a decision. I asked for an update soon after but heard nothing, then eventually received a Workday-style email saying they were moving forward with other candidates.
On another attempt, the sequence was clearer but ended in the same frustrating way. After a recruiter screen, I had a technical interview, a director interview, and a senior engineer interview. I received positive verbal feedback, heard the team liked me, and was even asked about start dates, so it felt close.
Despite those signals, it ended with a generic rejection and no personalized explanation. I asked for feedback after the final round and was ghosted on follow-up. The engaging people I met made the vague, delayed closure feel like a warning about the process's maturity.
Location: United States. Overall feedback: neutral. Offer status: no offer.
