I started with a recruiter screen, then completed an online assessment before a virtual loop with several interviewers. Each conversation blended technical material with Amazon Leadership Principles. The coding was DSA-heavy: I had to contrast brute-force and optimal approaches, explain time and space complexity, and work through a sliding-window problem systematically instead of rushing to code.

The back-to-back loop was structured but intense, and included a bar raiser. It covered coding, basic system design, debugging discussion, and behavioral questions tied repeatedly to ownership, bias for action, earning trust, and lessons from earlier situations. I needed to narrate my reasoning as I solved.

Things moved fast once the loop began. Edge cases and time pressure mattered even when I had part of an answer. I did not clear the interviews I needed, and felt I had been thinking in the right direction, but wanted more time to finish debugging and deal with the tricky details.

Location: Seattle, WA. Overall feedback: positive. Offer status: no offer.
