I began with a recruiter introduction to align on expectations and discuss my background. Technical conversations then went deeply into projects I had actually worked on rather than trying to catch me with gotcha questions.
In pair programming, I debugged and coded collaboratively, with attention to how I approached problems. I later presented a system to the hiring manager and discussed tradeoffs and real-world operation. The final leadership and culture conversation focused on collaboration. Despite a busy candidate schedule, the interviews stayed well managed with clear time windows. I received an offer and found the process tailored, fair, and engaging.
Location: Manchester, England. Overall feedback: positive. Offer status: got offer.
