Prime Video Software Engineer interview experience

Before the interviews, I spent hours on coding challenges and felt the preparation pay off immediately. The first technical question was about substring lengths and matched something I had seen while preparing. I was then asked about merging linked lists, followed by a behavioral question about frugality.

The process was straightforward and approachable, which surprised me given the usual intensity of these loops. The atmosphere felt calm enough to focus on reasoning rather than speed.

I received an offer and accepted it quickly. Preparation helped, but the bigger difference was the pace, which gave me room to show my thinking without a combative environment.

Location: United States. Overall feedback: positive. Offer status: got offer.
