Plangrid Account Executive interview: strong early rounds and no follow-up

The beginning of my process was genuinely positive. People were friendly and professional, and I found the conversations engaging as I went through several rounds. I eventually gave a presentation and had a final skip-level interview with senior leadership. At that point, I felt good about how everything had gone.

After that last round, the communication stopped. I waited without a clear update, then politely asked for an answer after several business days. That message received no response, and more time passed in complete silence. I contacted the recruiter coordinating the process too. When I shared times I was available for a short call, that went nowhere as well. I even reached out to a manager who had interviewed me and attended my case presentation, but never heard back from them either.

There was no closure after the effort I had put in. The silence left a much stronger negative impression than the interviews had created. I understand that hiring decisions happen, but the lack of communication felt disrespectful of my time.
