Oracle Health Account Executive interview: missed interviews and frozen position

The recruiter experience started badly and never recovered. I found the recruiter unprofessional and more focused on getting through the process than helping me understand the role. My questions went unanswered, and even after several follow-ups I still did not know the next steps. I was also missed for an interview I had been scheduled to attend.

When I was booked to speak with a VP of sales, I prepared and arrived early because the meeting was confirmed and her calendar looked open. She was actually on vacation, so I was no-showed a second time. When I followed up, the recruiter essentially said whoops, she was out, and mentioned that the position was being frozen.

I came away feeling that even a very large company could handle candidates with little care. The rejection seemed tied as much to scheduling failures as to fit.
