Notion Labs Solutions Engineer interview: technical screen and months without closure

I went into the process expecting something simple and informative. It started with a recruiter screen covering the usual background questions, my timeline, and my interest in Notion. The recruiter was straightforward and explained how the process worked. I was told I'd hear back quickly, but after that conversation I kept waiting.

Silence became the main pattern after the early stages. I later reached a technical screen whose question closely matched the preparation materials. I solved it and passed the test cases, but I still wasn't moved forward. When I asked for feedback, I received no response. After other rounds, the communication gap returned. I was given a vague timeline for decisions, then months passed without closure.

The human part of the process felt friendly at first, which made the lack of follow through more frustrating. I never reached an offer, and the silence afterward affected me more than I expected.
