That felt like a red flag, so I decided not to continue after the hiring manager conversation.

Separately, I applied for another role and had a short call with the recruiter. Then I heard nothing for about a month. There was little momentum or clarity, and I was left waiting long enough that the outcome no longer felt negotiable.

Location: United States. Overall feedback: Negative. Offer status: No offer.
