Infosys Finacle Software Engineer Interview Experience: microservice integration in two rounds

The process had two rounds. The technical interview lasted about 30 minutes, followed by a managerial round of around 45 minutes.

The technical questions were practical and architecture-focused despite being presented as simple problems. I was asked how to connect two databases in a single microservice and how different microservices communicate. The manager conversation was longer and focused more on my approach and thinking than on tricky technical one-liners.

It felt like a normal medium-difficulty progression. I left with the sense that they were checking both my understanding and how I reasoned through integration problems.
