After the recruiter call, I had a technical screen focused heavily on Python and automation thinking. I discussed lists, decorators, generators, and the difference between iterators and generators in real code. They asked about PyTest fixtures, then moved into automation framework design and how I would structure it end to end, including CI/CD pipeline considerations.
The coding portion was practical but somewhat algorithmic. I had to sort files and solve a maximum-subarray-style problem. The evaluation felt average in difficulty and clearly focused on test-automation fundamentals, including how to think about reliability and structure rather than only writing a test.
I did not receive an offer, but the technical content matched the role more closely than in some other processes I have seen.
Location: Hyderābād. Overall feedback: positive. Offer status: no offer.
