A recruiter contacted me first, and the process was straightforward and responsive from the beginning. Soon after, I had two technical rounds and an HR round. I used Java, and the questions covered data-structures and algorithms prompts, strings, collections, and concurrency concepts.
The second technical discussion looked at how systems work, not only syntax. I explained async architecture and the architecture of my current project, and was asked how Kafka works. Another question asked how I would go from nothing to building a product, so I talked through the main steps and decisions.
The process was quick and smooth from beginning to end. The interviewers were professional and easy to engage with, and I felt I was treated fairly and understood what they were evaluating. I received an offer.
Location: Singapore. Overall feedback: positive. Offer status: got offer.
