AT&T Software Engineer interview: a three-hour HackerRank and project code review

The next round focused more on building and explaining work I had done. I walked through a Java and Spring Boot project and had a code-review-style discussion. Toward the end, I answered two coding questions described as medium and similar to LeetCode. The in-person part leaned heavily on the project narrative and algorithm practice.

It felt like a standard but high-effort sequence: a long timed online test followed by multiple technical conversations. There was less emphasis on trick concepts and more on whether I could code, explain, and reason clearly. I did not get an offer. The hardest part was keeping both the project details and coding under control at the same time.

Location: Tel Aviv-Yafo. Overall feedback: positive. Offer status: no offer.
