The sequence felt professional and reasonable until the end. I first had a technical interview on JavaScript and React topics including hooks, reconciliation, HOCs, and performance patterns. We also discussed architecture and past project experience. A managerial round followed, focused on my projects, experience, and team fit.

What surprised me was receiving an online assessment after I had cleared both interviews. It covered React, React Native, and Angular, even though the role was React-focused. When the platform asked whether I wanted to submit without completing the remaining sections, I submitted because I assumed only the React portion would be evaluated.

I received a rejection email almost immediately, within seconds of submitting. The timing made it feel automated and disconnected from any review of my work. I asked for clarification, but got very little back, so the process ended abruptly rather than with a clear decision.

Location: Pune. Overall feedback: negative. Offer status: no offer.
