OA:
Write a function to validate a group of employees according to a set of rules.
Each employee can have a group of sub-employees under them, so each sub-employee also needs to be validated.
Phone Screen:
Add a new rule to the code from the OA, to validate whether there is a cycle in the employee list.
Onsite (4 rounds):
- Implement a Snake game. Need to handle keyboard input (up/down/left/right movement), hitting walls, and the snake's length increasing by 1 after eating an apple.
- Design an online app for sharing to-do lists with other people (requirements were given, but I needed to lay out the API endpoints as well as the database schema for storing to-do items and supporting real-time updates).
- Behavioral interview with a product manager, mainly about how to work with product managers and cross-team communication.
- Behavioral interview with the engineering director, mainly assessing whether this job is a good fit for you.
Final round:
A regular behavioral interview with the manager of the team you'd be joining.
