Amazon Software Engineer interview: assessment and waitlist

I took an online assessment with two DSA questions and multiple-choice scenarios about leadership qualities. After being shortlisted, I completed an online technical round with two DSA problems.

Leadership was already part of the assessment rather than a separate afterthought, while the technical work felt straightforward by comparison. I was waitlisted rather than offered, so the result felt mixed. Still, the process was orderly and each stage clearly led into the next.
