Amazon Kuiper Commercial Services Software Engineer interview: edge cases and unfinished assessment questions

The online coding assessment focused on DSA fundamentals and edge cases. I had several coding questions of different difficulty, and the last one was particularly demanding because it had many edge cases. A merely working baseline was not enough.

Timing was the problem for me. I could partly solve an earlier DSA question, but the edge cases and debugging absorbed the time I needed to finish and polish the rest. The overall flow also had a workstyle assessment tied to behavioral expectations, although coding dominated the early stages.

I did not move forward or receive an offer. It made clear that they valued complete work under pressure, not just reaching the basic idea.
