Amazon Advertising Software Engineer Interview Experience: an online coding interview after a hackathon

An Amazon Hackathon led to an online interview. The interviewer was friendly and approachable, and we began with a basic introduction.

The coding felt medium in difficulty and followed the format I'd expected when moving from a hackathon to an interview. I didn't get an offer, but the process was straightforward and the tone stayed positive.

I'd call the overall difficulty average. Feeling comfortable with the interviewers helped me concentrate on the coding problems instead of getting caught up in nerves.

Location: India. Overall feedback: positive. Offer status: no offer.
