I expected a normal technical conversation, and that was what I got: focused, direct, and largely about Core Java and Spring Boot. The questions covered object-oriented programming and concurrency, including multithreading, executors, volatile behavior, race conditions, and deadlocks. On the Spring Boot side, I was asked about annotations such as @Controller and @RestController.

They also tested my reasoning about performance and data access. I was asked about the n+1 query problem and the difference between eager and lazy loading. Toward the end, there was a stream-related question.

The overall atmosphere stayed positive, and the topics were within what I expected for a software engineer role. I felt I handled the core areas they emphasized, and I received an offer.

Location: India. Overall feedback: positive. Offer status: got offer.
