Accenture in India Full Stack Engineer interview: changed salary and work model

About a month after I applied through the company site, a recruiter called to discuss the role and salary range. Because I lived far from the office, I was told the plan would be home office. I then interviewed with a manager and soon heard from another recruiter that I had been approved.

The terms changed after that. I was offered a lower salary than the one first communicated, and home office became hybrid. After internal alignment, I was told the original conditions could not be maintained, so I chose not to continue. I had completed the process properly, but the offer outcome did not match what I had been told at the start.
